Hello Futbol Fans,

This is only my fourth notice regarding King Cup 2010. We have registered 105 teams of 130 team slots for the annual 2010 king Cup Soccer Tournament. Thank you so much for your overwhelming support of our tournament. We have 35 brand new teams so far. Many of our regulars have not yet registered. Please do so now to secure your teams spot in the tournament. It is always a pleasure to work with you. This year we should have 15 turf fields and 2 grass fields.

To register just click here. The price for registration is staying the same this year at $550, but we have less available team slots. Last year we had 139 teams with 15 teams on the waitlist that didn’t get to play and this year we expect to accommodate only 130 teams. Register now to guarantee your spot.

I have re-adjusted our play brackets. I have cancelled the over 50 bracket and changed it to Over 48. This year we will have 8 separate brackets: Over 35, Over 40 Rec, Over 40 Rec again, Over 40 competitive, Over 48 Rec, Over 48 Rec Again, Over 48 Competitive, and Over 55. Sorry to have to change the over 50 to Over 48. We expected greater participation. Final payment is due on or before November 13th 2009. At that time all unpaid registrations will be released and that teams slot will go to the next team on the waiting list. The first teams to pay will get top priority with game times and locations.

This year’s tournament travel service coordinators will be Lori Lewis and Nathan Cripps. They will be assisting with registration and all your travel needs. We have contracted with the Monte Carlo hotel for an incredible rate of only $99 per night for Friday and Saturday and just $69 on Sunday. If you have any special requests about schedules or teams you do or don't want to play, please let me know early. I'll look forward to hearing from you all as the summer comes to a close.
