Hello to all my Futbol Friends,

We we’ve reached the halfway point.  Half the available team slots are filled.  This is my third notice regarding King Cup 2010.  Now is the time to register for the 2010 King Cup.  I have secured the fields from the city of Las Vegas and I am still waiting on the county for 2 more fields.  Las Vegas has added two new turf fields to their inventory.  We have them reserved for our tournament.  The park is called freedom park.  We use the dirt lots there 3 years ago.  They demolished the old park and built a brand new sports complex.  The fields are scheduled to be completed later this year so we will be the first tournament on them.  We should have 15 turf fields and 2 grass fields.  

Registration is in full swing. The price for registration is staying the same this year but we have less available team slots. Last year we had 139 teams with 15 teams on the waitlist that didn’t get to play and this year we expect to accommodate only 130 teams.  Register now to guarantee your spot.  65 Teams have already registered.

This year we will have 8 separate brackets: Over 35, Over 40 Rec, Over 40 Rec again, Over 40 competitive, Over 48 Rec, Over 48 Competitive, Over 50 Rec, and Over 55.  Final payment is due on or before November 13th 2009.  At that time all unpaid registrations will be released and that teams slot will go to the next team on the waiting list.  The first teams to pay will get top priority with game times and locations.

This year’s tournament travel service coordinator will be Lori Lewis.  She will be assisting with registrations and all your travel needs.  She has worked with the tournament for 3 years now and is really excited about hearing from you all.  Lori can be reached at 253-383-8000 or lori@travelcenter4u.com.   If you have any special requests about schedules or teams you do or don't want to play, please let me know early.  I'll look forward to hearing from you all as the summer comes on.
